![expresscard PCB](https://cdn.tahnok.ca/u/PXL_20240209_020005699.jpg) ![oblique angle on PCB so you can read the chips](https://cdn.tahnok.ca/u/PXL_20240209_020938670.jpg) PCB Thickness: 0.6mm PCB dimensions: 28mm x 55mm The big IC in the middle says ``` D720202 701 2303TV003S Taiwan ``` Which is a [UPD720202 USB host controller to bridge PCIe to USB3](https://www.renesas.com/us/en/products/interface/usb-switches-hubs/upd720202-usb-30-host-controller#overview) [digikey datasheet](https://mm.digikey.com/Volume0/opasdata/d220001/medias/docus/5337/uPD720201-02_Rev6.00_1-29-14.pdf) Smaller says is ``` P25D40SH 3B1H32B ``` This looks like a [P25D40SH SPI flash memory](https://jlcpcb.com/partdetail/PUYA-P25D40SH_SSHIT/C5263832), bit surprised to see that on here, but there's firmware for the USB controller on it apparently. The tallest component (an inductor) is 2.7mm tall to fit in the shielding. The expresscard connector pins are 0.42mm wide. The footprint has 0.5mm wide pads. The spacing between pads is 0.5mm approximately. I should remove the connector with hot air and scan/measure it more closely. I don't see the 3.3V to 5V circuit yet, but I think I see a aluminum polymer capacitor (like [this](https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/panasonic-electronic-components/EEF-CX0J101R/816418)). Actually, the part might be a schottky diode?
